Ex-students add their mite to repair the dilapidated Parsi Students’ Hostel
For Filly Bapuna, Marzee Kerawala and several other donors this was an opportunity to repay their debt to the community. Bapuna had been a resident of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) run Bai Soonabai and Seth Behramji H. Sorabji Parsi Students’ Hostel in Gamadia Colony, Tardeo for seven years in the 1980s while Kerawala was a beneficiary of a flat in Panthaky Baug. When they heard the dilapidated Hostel structure built in 1937 was in urgent need of repair and renovation, they readily lent a helping hand.
