A one-acre plot on Byramji Gamadia Road, set aside for a children’s park in 1991 and whose ownership is the subject matter of a dispute between Behram Gamadia and S. P. Seth, is now listed as a residential zone in the proposed development plan 2034 (DP 2034) according to the MumbaiMirror (MM) of June 8, 2017. The report states that the Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) had 25 years to acquire the plot "but did absolutely nothing,” resulting in the land getting de-reserved from its status of a children’s park.
