Everyday prayer book

 Writer Rusi Besania of Surat considers the publication of Bandagi no guldasto (Bouquet of prayers), his 36th publication, as the best and most valuable event ("Sauthi uttam ané moolyavan ghatna”) of his life. The 52-page booklet in Gujarati was released at the 194th salgirah of the Seth Dadabhai Naoshirwanji Modi Atash Behram in Surat on October 2, 2016. A copy of the prayer book, just received by Parsiana, is jointly authored with Yasmin Dotiwala, with whom Besania has collaborated on nine other publications. In the foreword to the book, Surat High Priest Dastur Cyrus Dastur recommends that the prayers in the booklet be recited daily, if one is unable to recite the mandatory daily prayers ("Avesta ni farajiyato”). The edition is divided into nine chapters and includes short prayers (nirangs) for easing difficulties (Bahram Yazad ni nirang) and warding off evil (Shah Faredoon ni nirang).
