My son has a very nice non-Parsi wife, and I must admit he is a very lucky man. The ONLY regret I have is that they cannot visit the fire-temple together even on auspicious days in the family or community. She unfortunately had to sit "outside" at my father-in-law's funeral. The question is not only of finding a Parsi/Zoroastrian spouse, but one with matching mental wavelenghts so the marriage can last a life time. Failure to find the right match within the community often leads to outside of the community specially when one is living in a city or an area where the only Parsi/Zoroastrian is oneself.
