Ness navjoted

When pictures of a recently performed navjote of the 50-year-old Wadia family scion Ness appeared on social media, Parsiana contacted his office for information. We were told he was traveling.
The photos show Ness’s navjote being performed by Ervad Framroze Mirza. Mirza is the administrator of the Worli Prayer Hall where funerary services are held for Parsis opting for cremation.

Parsiana requested Dastur (Dr) Firoze Kotwal for his views on the event. The High Priest had approved of Ness’s grandfather Neville Wadia having his navjote done late in life. Neville had converted from the Church of England to Zoroastrianism. "What is true or not, what is right or wrong, will be answered by each one of us on Judgment Day… I do not generally involve myself in any controversy in the community… Even when I am publicly criticized in community journals and newspapers I do not respond as I do not like to fan the flames of controversy,” Kotwal stated. "Our life is short and there is a lot of useful work that I am involved in which I must complete.”
Ness serves as managing director of Bombay Burmah Trading Company Limited and chairman of National Peroxide Limited, according to Wikipedia. He also serves as director on the boards of various Wadia Group companies. He is the son of Group chairman Nusli and his wife Maureen.
