One day after senior citizen Khurshed Mistry was bitten by a cobra in Godrej Baug on May 17, 2019, the Godrej Baug Residents Welfare Association (GBRWA) put out an advisory consisting of dos and don’ts. The note cautions all residents to be extra alert while walking in the Baug, and to be watchful before stepping into garages or out of cars. While the notice highlights the need to keep garages and common areas free from debris, telephone numbers of snake catchers have been circulated.
