a fillip to culinary entrepreneurship
"Celebrating the everyday cook, rejuvenating the traditional kitchen,” announces the Facebook page of Parsis Exchange Recipes (PER). Positioned as a "repository of recipes, food videos and food stories; some Parsi, some not; some quick and easy; others involved and challenging,” the group has 7,901 members who regularly post images and recipes of their triumphs in their kitchens.
Chicago based copywriter and creative director Vera Dinshaw Springett, who is a co-admin (administrator) of the PER informed Parsiana on February 14, 2018 the genesis of the group: "People divided over politics came together via food... it is what we Parsis do best......
