The observance of the 125th year of the founding of the Hirabai Mulla Daremeher in Nagpur will be the high point next year for the new board of trustees of the Nagpur Parsi Punchayet (NPP), honorary secretary Shiraz Gimi informed Parsiana in a telephone call on May 22, 2019. Candidates for five key positions in the NPP were returned to office unopposed for a further period of three years, when elections were held on March 31 this year. President Aspi Bapuna, vice president Navroze Davar and honorary secretary Gimi will continue to hold office in their respective positions, as will honorary treasurer Adi Magra and lady member Mehroo Watchmaker.

The posts of seven managing committee members were contested too. The committee will see one new entrant: Parheez Gimi. Tauby Bhagwagar, Cyrus Major, Rayomand Madan, Sharukh Cassad, Yezdi Bhagwagar and Rusi Godha were reelected, noted Shiraz. Social worker Khushroo Poacha functioned as the returning officer for the elections.
