I have read your brief comment on my letter ("Practical, not foolhardy," Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, February 21, 2019).
I find that there is no scriptural injunction against the merger of fires. I am aware of the two fires at the Lonavala agiary. It is religious minded fanatics who are against mergers without any basis or root in our surviving scriptures.
