Aiding computer literacy

The Lions Club of Babulnath has set up a computer learning center in Mohili village at Karjat near Bombay. The five lakh rupee project will assist underprivileged children of 17 surrounding villages to acquaint themselves with information technology. Six wi-fi enabled computers with web cameras, a printer and a projector, computer furniture as also electrical fittings were provided. "Our president Lion Farokh Anklesaria always wanted to do something for the youth,” noted a brief write up received by Parsiana from past president Lion Veera Mundroina. The inauguration of the center on January 7, 2018 was attended by district governor Lion Pradip Parekh, 1st vice district governor Lion Divyesh Shah, and 27 members of the Babulnath Club, she noted.        A view of the computer center in Mohili: Lions’ largesse  ...
