Second-year student of Amity Law School, Delhi, Adityaraj Patodia (pictured) has been awarded Best Mooter at the 13th National Level Moot Court Competition of K.C. Law College, Bombay. The event saw participation from more than 30 law colleges. "Mooting plays an essential role in the life of a law student by making them aware of the court proceedings and the rules and regulations thereof,” Patodia told Parsiana on April 16, 2019. "I was ecstatic when the results were announced, as I had worked very hard for an entire month on this competition alongside college and other academic responsibilities,” he added. Adityaraj’s mother Shiraz (née Contractor) is the lawyer for her sister Goolrookh Gupta who is fighting a case in the Supreme Court against a resolution passed by the Valsad Parsi Anjuman barring women married to non-Parsis from entering the Valsad fire temple and Doongerwadi.  ...
