The item "Martyr for Maharashtra” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, July 21, 2010) regarding the Nationalist Congress Party honoring families of the non-Marathi martyrs who lost their lives during the Samyukta Maharashtra violence, mentions that the only Parsi who featured on their list was one Hormusji Cursetji. This is a continuation of the error made by The Times of India from which you have quoted.
The person concerned was Hormusji Cursetji Mistry. He was my mother’s first cousin. My cousin Cyrus Patel and I were present at the ceremony.
