“A paper travail”

After your superb Navroz issue, it was rather a surprise to read your somewhat bleak remarks on the problems print journals are facing in these polarising times. Your editorial, "A paper travail” (Parsiana, March 21-April 6, 2025) is a very honest but rather sad commentary on this. Not only are influencers on social media platforms dominating the discourse, but the spread of false news and instant headline grabbing memes makes it difficult to put forth a more measured opinion. This only makes it all the more important that publications such as Parsiana stand firm against the approaching tide. This too, like the (former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s infamous) Emergency that you have cited, will pass. Incidentally, the cover of the issue showing a sketch of the Grant Medical College and J. J.
