In spite of unethical practices during previous elections, the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) trustees have found no time to frame a code of conduct for this election.
On a mere technical issue, a drama was created in the boardroom over Muncherji Cama’s resignation. Money meant for the poor and the needy has gone to attorneys. Earlier also, crores of trust funds were diverted to file meaningless litigation that brought no benefits but tarnished the image of the community that only wants peace. A good trustee is a peacemaker.
We seem to suffer from leadership deficiency both at the Punchayet level......
