Public notices in the Parsi Press on the weekend of January 8 and 9, 2022 had stated that the Brihan Mumbai Corporation crematorium adjacent to the Prayer Hall would be closed "for repair and may be out of commission for the next three-four weeks or more.”
"The furnaces have become functional as of today noon,” chairman of The Prayer Hall Services and Maintenance Trust Dinshaw Tamboly informed Parsiana on January 12.
