Referendum needed

Ever since the World Alliance of Parsi Irani Zarthoshtis (WAPIZ) stormed the bastion of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP), some weird fatwas have been pronounced by the BPP, demeaning its stature. The WAPIZ delegates think they have the right to mandate and pontificate on Zoroastrianism as they wish. The BPP has no authority to mandate on religious matters. In fact, a referendum needs to be held on the problematic issues facing the community. Only then can a collective decision be taken. The BPP had no business to vandalize the Zoroastrian College at Sanjan, to ostracize two priests or to show resentment......
