The 100th birthday of Freny Behram Mistry, a resident of the WZO (World Zoroastrian Organisation) Trust Fund’s Senior Citizens Centre in Navsari, was celebrated with eclat on August 23, 2025. The Centre was decorated with colorful floral bouquets and a birthday cake was cut in the presence of members and staff, with the birthday girl’s son and close friends in attendance, mentions an email from WZO Trusts forwarded by chairman Dinshaw Tamboly. Lively garba dancing to festive music followed the cake-cutting.
Mistry follows in the footsteps of Perin Bhiwandiwala, the first centenarian at the Centre, who is now a sprightly 102. The Centre takes pride in celebrating the birthdays of all members. With the vibrant atmosphere and the love, affection and respect residents receive, the team is confident there will be others joining this select group.
