I have read your editorial "Friend, not foe” (Parsiana, April 7-20, 2024) about the controversy generated over the Avan Yazad parav function at the Radio Club. Maybe we in Karachi are a mauj-shauk (fun loving) community and do not know much about paravs, etc but we are a happy lot, bonding and celebrating frequently at events organized by our various associations.
Acrimony and angry religious views would be frowned upon here.
