Recently promoted as chair of the Department of Pediatric Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan, New York, Dr Mahrukh Bamji’s "responsibilities include the overall administration of the department, supervising the 22 pediatric physicians who take care of patients in the inpatient and outpatient divisions. Other duties include making sure that the Department is in compliance with the numerous regulations of the Department of Health and the other governmental regulatory bodies,” she stated when responding to queries from Parsiana.
