The hall of the Senior Citizens Centre at Navsari was festively decorated on June 1, 2025 to celebrate the birthdays of three of its residents. Parin Bhivandiwala, who completed 101 years, has been living at the Centre, run by the World Zoroastrian Organisation Trust Funds (WZOTF), for the past 16 years. The other celebrants were Baktu Umrigar, who moved there from Surat with her husband Jal some time back, and Zarine Jamshedjee, a recent arrival from Bombay.
Three birthday cakes were cut and the excited residents enjoyed music, dancing, garbas and good food on the occasion, notes a write-up from WZOTF. S.V.
