Family business

"When the family left the restaurant, Nusli and Ness were the last to leave. But we were left wondering what the conversation between father and son was about, as we noticed Nusli hugging Ness, a rare public display of affection,” writes Business India in "Chatzone,” July 12-25, 2010. The magazine was commenting on the Wadia family’s night out at an oriental restaurant in Bombay. With Nusli and wife Maureen, sons Ness and Jeh , daughter-in-law and grandchildren gathered to celebrate a birthday, "the Nusli Wadia we saw was not the corporate warrior. We saw that he is as doting a grandfather as he is a father,” the magazine states. Featuring part of an article it had written on Nusli Wadia’s "textile giant Bombay Dyeing” and two of the other companies of the Wadia Group 20 years ago (June 25-July 8, 1990 issue), Business India now writes that the Wadia Group is present in electronics, light engineering, health, chemicals, real estate, consultancy, petrochemicals, laminates, plantations, textile and airline segments.
