Deaths at Bombay’s Doon-gerwadi numbered 30. Births cut a sorry figure for the first 15 days of July. Intimation of only four births was received by Parsiana from the two hospitals in south Bombay that send in data. Heart disease as the major killer felled seven Zoroastrians. Four of them were 80 years and above. Cancer killed six patients, while four succumbed to lung disease/pneumonia.
