Marxist ideologue Kobad Ghandy came to the Parsiana office on July 7, 2021 for an interview two days after the 84-year-old, incarcerated Jesuit priest Fr Stan Swamy died. Swamy, like Ghandy, had been imprisoned under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) which virtually presumes a person guilty till proven innocent. While Ghandy was imprisoned as a "high risk” undertrial for 10 years before finally securing bail in 2019, Swamy had been arrested on October 8, 2020.
