For his struggle to help the disadvantaged, Kobad Ghandy was jailed as an undertrial for 10 years

Marxist ideologue Kobad Ghandy came to the Parsiana office on July 7, 2021 for an interview two days after the 84-year-old, incarcerated Jesuit priest  Fr Stan Swamy died. Swamy, like Ghandy, had been imprisoned under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) which virtually presumes a person guilty till proven innocent. While Ghandy was imprisoned as a "high risk” undertrial for 10 years before finally securing bail in 2019, Swamy had been arrested on October 8, 2020. Cases had been filed against Ghandy in states which he says he never even visited. So determined was the government to keep him......
