In an effort to upgrade its medical facilities and services for Parsis, The B. D. Petit Parsee General Hospital (PGH) is "in the process of enhancing our diagnostic capabilities by installing our first CT (computed tomography) scan machine which is expected to be functional by the end of this month,” stated the Hospital’s chief executive officer Lt Gen (Dr) Manomoy Ganguly (retd) on October 5, 2021.

"We have no plans to add an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine in the immediate future due to its high cost and (non)viability. Maybe, at some stage we will consider it.”
"My co-executor Fali Sarkari and I, as trustees of the estate of late army officer Col P. M. R. Bharoacha have donated three crore rupees to PGH for installation of CT Scan machine,” lawyer Dr Bakhtiar Bhesania confirmed to Parsiana on October 9.
A new oxygen plant has been installed and is fully operational. "We also have sufficient backup of liquid medical oxygen, oxygen cylinders and concentrators. We are now self-sufficient in this area,” Ganguly noted. "Our special thanks to our donors who have made this possible for PGH,” he concluded.
