Memorabilia magnanimity

Former Test umpire Dara Dotiwalla donated all important equipment of the India vs Australia tied Test match played at Madras in 1986-87 to the Parsi Gymkhana in Bombay at the end of the All Parsi Tournament during the last season. Among the paraphernalia he presented were two bails, one ball counter, scissors (cutter), cassette of the Test match and blazer lapel, noted a write-up by Surat based Keki Doodhwala, also a former umpire. Dotiwalla handed over the objects to Khodadad Yazdegardi, vice president and cricket secretary of the Parsi Gymkhana on March 27, 2016. Also present at the function was......
