Babies born, marriages solemnized and deaths that occurred between 1st-15th of September 2010 have been mentioned herewith.
An alarming divide was noticeable with two births versus 50 deaths in the figures for the first 15 days of September. As always heart disease was the major killer claiming 17 victims of which nine were in the 80+ age group. Pneumonia/lung disease took 11 lives. The other killers were: cancer (four), hypertension (three) and kidney failure, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes and sepsis (two each). One Zoroastrian each fell prey to head injury, brain disease, lymphocytic leukaemia, septicemia, old age/general debility, fever, Alzheimer’s disease and......
