The main reason why the number of Parsis/Zoroastrians is on the decline is because children of Parsi mothers and non-Parsi fathers are not considered to be part of the community. And that too in the 21st century! ABAN BANA

It’s definitely one of the causes but even if they were considered Parsis, the overall demographic decline would continue. In Bombay around 700 to 750 deaths occur in a year and the number of births is much under 200.

Parsiana needs Berjis Desai’s column. Without it the magazine is incomplete. Covers/cover stories definitely need to be hugely improved. Usually, they are boring. Editorials need to be more hard-hitting, and corruption in the community needs to be exposed in Parsiana.
