Poet and author Adil Jussawalla strove to give a voice to unheard Indian writers

As a result of the seminar on "The Parsi Contribution to Indian Literature” which was held at the Sir Pherozeshah Mehta Bhavan on the Kalina campus of Bombay University on September 20, 2016 (see "The pen and the Parsis,” Parsiana, March 7, 2017) the Sahitya Akademi commissioned a book to record the papers which were read on this occasion. Dr Coomi Vevaina, former head of the English Department, Bombay University, requested Harish Nambiar to interview Adil Jussawalla for this book. Not only did Nambiar get Jussawalla to agree to an interview but he also persuaded him to record the interview......
