Errata

In "Effortlessly humorous” (Parsiana, August 21-September 6, 2019) covering the launch of Berjis Desai’s book Oh! Those Parsis, Somsekhar Sundaresan has been referred to as a SEBI counsel.  Desai has clarified that Sundaresan is a securities law expert. In "Leading the ladies” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, August 21-September 6, 2019), we have incorrectly stated that the Ladies Wing of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1962. It was founded in 1966.  In the article on Dr Cawas Lalcaca, "Mystery of a martyr’s memorial” (Parsiana, August 7-20, 2019), author Dr Shubhada Pandya has written to say that the subhead should have read the statue "found its way to Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College,” and not "Grant Medical College.” In "The sporting life” (Parsiana, August 7-20, 2019), on Novy Kapadia, he has pointed out that we erroneously mentioned that he has published six research papers on eminent Parsi novelists instead of 36 written by him! Parsiana regrets the errors.  ...
