Regarded as one of the world’s foremost experts on oilseed and vegetable oil pricing, on November 4, 2022, London-Singapore based Dorab Mistry was elected non executive chairman of Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL), a joint venture between Adani Group and Wilmar. "It is one of the oldest Adani Group companies having been established in 1997, soon after the Mundra port was developed. AWL enjoys a market cap of almost USD 12 billion and is also India’s largest food company by turnover,” mentioned Mistry in response to queries from Parsiana.
