"Together, let’s make history in the Lion City,” announced the newly launched website www.wzcsg26.com ahead of the 13th World Zoroastrian Congress (WZC) in Singapore from December 28 to 30, 2026. Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s national symbol, the Merlion (a mythical creature with a lion’s head and the body of a fish to denote the country’s humble origins as a fishing village and its original Sanskrit name Singapura meaning lion head), the theme of the Congress is "Reach Out, Aspire and Rise (ROAR).”

Under its "Reach Out” component, the Congress will offer "many chances to connect, collaborate and build lasting friendships.” It will further "Aspire” to spotlight "thought leaders and high achievers across diverse fields, create spaces to engage with contemporary Zoroastrian research and provide avenues for mentorship and networking.” Ultimately by offering a platform for debate and dialog, the Congress will "Rise to shape the future direction of our global community and to devise new initiatives and innovations to strengthen our bonds and bring about collective progress,” as per the website launched on July 11, 2025.
To be hosted by the Parsi Zoroastrian Association of South East Asia that serves the residents of Singapore and Malaysia, the venue for the Congress will be Marina Bay Sands. With the resort’s three soaring towers connected by the Sky Park, an architectural marvel that appears to float above the city, the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool and attractions like the Art Science Museum, it is considered "not just a place to stay; it is a place to be inspired.” Inviting participants of all ages from the Zoroastrian community as well as friends of the community, registrations for the Congress will open on their website in January 2026 although those interested can currently indicate their interest to stay updated on key developments and early bird offers.
"We aspire to create a platform where Zoroastrians of all ideologies — traditional, progressive, and everything in between — can engage in meaningful dialog,” states the website. They also aim to have the highest Iranian participation at any recent Congress, adding greater diversity of voices and perspectives. While the program schedule, including the Children’s and Youth Tracks, is being finalized, among the events confirmed is a Youth Mixer on December 27, the day prior to the Congress and a New Year’s Eve dinner on December 31, the day after the Congress ends.
The 350-member community in Singapore is hoping to generate financial support through sponsorships for the overall event, individual sessions, special exhibition on the 200-year-old story of Zoroastrians in the Far East, gahanbar lunches or dinner, WZC merchandise, financial assistance to deserving delegates or advertisements in the event brochure. "All contributions are welcome, with a generous helping of good wishes and dua (blessings),” confirmed the website
