Mahanaaz Bomanjee uses rhythm and songs to aid many people, especially senior citizens, in dealing with depression. She has written a book, Music Ameliorates the Academic Performance, specifying her appraoch in her online and offline classes, notes copywriter-turned-teacher Pinky Mistry in an email sent to Parsiana. Bomanjee’s music therapy involves karaoke evenings with foot-tapping numbers and a few surprises thrown in.
