Metro stay vacated

The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing to January 4, 2019 after hearing detailed arguments over one and a half hours by Zerick Dastur who argued against the Attorney General of India who contended that the petitioners were a minority and the entire community did not support them including two High Priests who had dismissed their concerns. While the Court relieved the Metro from its oral direction not to do further tunneling, the Court wants to monitor the impact of such work for the next three weeks or so. Metro has to provide full details to the Court by affidavit before they can do controlled blasting and other station work before the next hearing. The crusade continues to save our Atash Behrams.
